Soccer games

This Tuesday, September 18th the Salem soccer team will host Christ, North St. Paul at 4pm.  On Thursday, September 20th they will host Burnsville also at 4pm.  Both games are on the field next to  our school.  GO SAINTS!

Salem Lutheran Vacation Bible School June 14th-18th

Vacation Bible School 2021 is just around the corner.  If you haven't registered please do so by June 5th in order for the organizers to assure there is plenty of materials for everyone.   In order to make this year's VBS successful many volunteers are needed.  Lead teachers for almost all of the grade levels are needed, along with a lead teacher for games and for crafts.  There are also many assistant volunteers in all of these areas also needed.  For registration and volunteer, sign-up go to https://www.salemlutheran.org/vbs.   If you have any questions about what your duties would be in each area of volunteering please contact the vacation Bible school coordinator, Debbie Hansen at dhansen@salemlutheran.org.

Salem Bowling

Salem will once again offer bowling this spring for boys and girls in grades 5th-8th. There is a fee of $60 to participate. (This fee is what Stillwater bowl charges each student for the rental of the shoes and balls for all of the practices.) Students that want to participate will need to purchase a bowling T-shirt that will have their last name on the back and their number.  If they participated last year and their T-shirt still fits they may use that. Just be sure to indicate on the bottom of this form what your number is so that number isn’t used by another teammate. Practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45-5:00 at Stillwater Bowl.  The students will need a ride to the bowling alley. So if you can help carpool that would be great. July School News

  Salem School News 2021-2022 School Theme The theme for our upcoming school year is “Together in Christ” based on Ephesians 2:21-22. The verse reads, “In Christ the whole building is joined together… and in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives.” We are starting to put the artwork around school and on our documents. We are excited to continue building our Salem Family on the firm foundation of God’s Word and Christian love.  Staffing Update With the Brohns accepting the call to Farmington, New Mexico, this gave us two vacancies in the Middle School.  We have called Daniel Bredendick to serve as our 5th and 6th-grade teacher as well as our technology director.  He was serving in Fort Atkinson, WI, and recently became available for a call. His wife currently teaches at Lakeside Lutheran High School and his children are both grown. We are happy to tell you he has accepted our call and we look forward to him joining our teaching mi...
