Following Governor Walz recommendations, Salem will be continuing remote learning for the rest of this school year. As the school year gets closer to the end, we will send out information on the end of year procedures. Salem Lutheran School Yearbooks are being ordered! Please place your order by sending an email to school.office@salemlutheran.org. Yearbooks are $14 each. You can send a check to the school office made out to Salem Lutheran School or a charge can be made to your TADS account in May for your order. Please note your family name, preference for payment, and how many books you would like to order. Send your email to the school office no later than May 1 to order. Go Saints!

Dear Salem Family, For many years now we have been recommending a resource for you to use in the summer months to keep your child active in their learning. This has been helpful to several of our school families (Mrs. Hasselquist especially likes to recommend the math review for her students). They have sent us a website that families can use to order materials and have them sent directly to your home to use as supplemental help now or to be ready for when the summer arrives. Parents/Caregivers of students in grades 1-8, you most likely recently received an email containing your child's report card. There's no need to wait for an email. You can log in to our school management system at any time to view report cards, view student grades and progress, get an updated lunch balance, and so much more. Remote Learning at Salem Salem teachers have created a plan for remote learning for the students enrolled. Remote learning began on March 23rd and will go through at least May 1st. Teachers are sending videos or having classes via Google Meet to teach content. Classes will continue with this format and students will turn in work online as well. We are starting off slow as teachers and students adjust to the new learning style. We want to thank the parents who are helping the teachers facilitate the learning since we cannot be with the children. All school related activities have been cancelled until further notice.  School Lunch Help Do you need help with lunches for your child or know a family that could use some help with meals during this difficult time?
