 St. Croix Lutheran is still hoping to hold their youth summer camps, but the basketball and academic camps scheduled in June were moved to July. The link below is for information about summer camps.  Most camps are for students entering grades 5-9, but wrestling is gr. 1-9 and football is gr. K-8. In the event a camp must be canceled, families will receive a full refund. The registration deadline for all camps is June 25. SCLA SUMMER CAMPS

Dear Salem Family, For many years now we have been recommending a resource for you to use in the summer months to keep your child active in their learning. This has been helpful in the past and used by several of our school families (Mrs. Hasselquist especially likes to recommend the math review for her students). They have sent us a website that families can use to order materials to be ready for when the summer arrives. You can now order these yourself and have them delivered right to your home. Construction for the SCLA fine arts addition has begun and is well underway. Thank you to the many supporters who helped launch this project! The school moves Forward in Faith, despite current challenges caused by the novel coronavirus pandemic. SCLA Gala Rescheduled to September Spend an evening in France and enjoy complimentary valet parking, drinks and hors d’oeuvres during the silent auction, and a three course dinner Saturday, September 17 at the Hilton. Remote Learning Extended Due to Governor Walz’s recommendations, Salem will be doing remote learning for the remainder of the school year. We wish we could get back into the school building, but to keep our Salem families safe and healthy we will remain apart. The teachers will continue with the plan put in place in March until the end of the school year. Graduation Mr. Klatt, Pastor Brohn, and Pastor Schram have been talking about what to do for graduation as we will most likely not be able to have it in person. We will be having an online service in which we plan to have special accommodations for the graduating 8th graders. We still want to make it special for them and let them know we care about them as they move on to their high school education. The service will still be planned for May 31st. Confirmation  Confirmation has been postponed until July 26. This will hopefully give enough time for the virus to calm down and for the confirmation class to be confirmed in the chu
