Here is the handbook for the new school year. Hard copies are available in the school office. Many of you already picked yours up at Welcome Night. Please sign and turn in the last page by August 29 so we know all of our families have received theirs. Thank you!

SCHOOL NEWS COVID Update Salem has had a relatively successful start to the school year. We have had only a couple of COVID issues, one affecting a classroom in our school. We continue to follow the protocols outlined in our Back to School Policy and work with parents to ensure that students who are sick are staying home so as to not spread an infection at school. St. Croix Joint Ministry with Salem A one page document has been shared with the church and school about the St. Croix Joint Ministry opportunity. If you would like a link to the update, please contact Mr. Klatt at rklatt@salemlutheran.org. Mr. Todd Russ and Nate Kallies will also be at our next congregational meeting to answer questions and share St. Croix’s vision of the Joint Ministry alongside Salem’s vision. August/September Lunch Menu

Lunch News Here is the first lunch menu for the 2018-2019 school year! Please make sure your lunch account is funded for the school year to begin. Checks can be dropped off in the school office and should be made out to Salem Food Service on your child's first day of school. TADS can also be set up to automatically withdraw from your checking, savings, or credit card if you have tuition set up to do the same. Stop into the school office for more information or email school.office@salemlutheran.org. This year we will be using TADS Educate to allow you to check your lunch balance. We will be sending out more information on how to log into this as the school year begins and we have everything in place to get this information accessible to you. This will be a great resource for you this year for lunch as well as for other school information. We will keep you posted as we work to get this ready.
