Earlier this week our students in grades 5-8 finished the fourth and final round of the Martin Luther College Meet Math competition. Students are given six questions to complete within a 25-minute time limit. Calculators are allowed for this competition, but they often don't help due to the complexity of the problems. Congrats to all of our students for participating in this rigorous math event. Our Salem fifth and sixth-grade students are in the B-6 category, and our seventh and eighth-grade students are in the A-5 category. Categories are determined by school size.
