Don't Forget to Sign Up!

  August Welcome Back Meet & Greet Monday, August 23 - 8am-12pm OR Tuesday, August 24 - 3pm-7pm We have two days set aside for parents to meet one-on-one with their child’s teacher (20-minute time slots). Students can bring their school supplies and see the classroom at the same time that parents and students will meet with the teacher. Please select a date and time from the sign-up below (Preschool families that are familiar with their child’s teacher and classroom do not need to sign up for a time if they don't think it is needed, just bring supplies on the first day of school). Click Here for Meet & Greet Sign Up If you are not able to meet on one of these two days, be sure to let your child's teacher know. An alternate day and time can be set up with them.

Encourage Future Ministry Leaders

Encourage Future Ministry Leaders Salem Lutheran families are deeply grateful for pastors who preach the Gospel, preschool staff who reflect Christ to the Stillwater community, and instructors who nurture young people in our Lord’s truth. The  Sundays of April 15, 22 and 29 have been set aside as times to prayerfully reflect on and encourage those preparing for the full-time ministry through Martin Luther College (MLC). MLC will match up to $3,000 given by Salem members to support each Salem member preparing for ministry. These gifts will also support our high school and Seminary students who plan to prepare for full-time ministry.  Please pray for Salem’s young people preparing to serve the Lord in this way and consider an additional donation for “Salem Scholarship Fund” via the special envelopes or www.SalemLutheran.org/Donate select “other” and “MLC.”

Basketball Schedule Updates

There have been some updates to the basketball schedule.  First, both the girls and boys teams will open the season on Nov 10th against Mount Olive. The girls game will start at 7 pm and the boys follow at 8 pm in Delano. Salem's first home game is Nov 17th.  Home games will now start at 6:30 pm with the girls and the boys will follow at 7:30 pm.  Note that this is a time change from what was previously communicated. Information about the St Croix tournament in December and all the times have been updated on the Salem sports calendar, so be sure to check it out.  Go Saints!
