Mrs. Hasselquist and her class are supporting The Ronald McDonald House by participating in the Pop Tab program. Her classroom has been part of this program for around 16 years and they have collected over 200 lbs of pop tabs. The cash received from these goes directly to support Ronald McDonald House.They can be brought to the bin at the entrance to school or directly to her classroom.

We are again using TADS to help manage payments to Salem Lutheran School. If you have not already done so, please complete the TADS Tuition Agreement that you should have received by email as soon as possible . Contact the school office if you need the agreement sent to you again or you are requesting changes to your enrollment or payment plan. TADS Customer Service can help with any changes to banking or contract changes. Contact them at 612-548-3320 if you have any questions on your agreement.  Please note lunch payments may also be scheduled using your TADS agreement.                                                           School News 2018-2019 As you can see from the picture of the solar panels that were hinstalled on our building last year, the focus of our church and school is seen in the cross these panels form. It also is a beautiful picture to share with you as we begin our school theme for the year, "Built on the Rock!". Our theme is taken from Matthew 7:24-25 , " Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. Christmas Service Plans

Hello Salem Families, The following is a Christmas service update. Instead of the K-8 students having one service on December 15th for sharing the story of our Savior’s birth, we will be having the Christmas story spread out over our three midweek Advent services. Please set these times aside on your calendar and note the time of 4pm for them all: Grades 5-8: Wednesday, December 1st @ 4pm in the church sanctuary Grades K-1: Wednesday, December 8th @ 4pm in the church sanctuary Grades 2-4: Wednesday, December 15th @ 4pm in the church sanctuary These services will be live-streamed and posted on Youtube for family members who can’t make it or would like to rewatch it. Meals will be served following each service and all are welcome to stay for food & fellowship! The Preschool Christmas Service will be held as originally scheduled on December 9th at 6:00 pm.
