Salem Lutheran Vacation Bible School June 14th-18th

Vacation Bible School 2021 is just around the corner.  If you haven't registered please do so by June 5th in order for the organizers to assure there is plenty of materials for everyone.   In order to make this year's VBS successful many volunteers are needed.  Lead teachers for almost all of the grade levels are needed, along with a lead teacher for games and for crafts.  There are also many assistant volunteers in all of these areas also needed.  For registration and volunteer, sign-up go to https://www.salemlutheran.org/vbs.   If you have any questions about what your duties would be in each area of volunteering please contact the vacation Bible school coordinator, Debbie Hansen at dhansen@salemlutheran.org.

January Salem School News

Registration for Preschool Next School Year The time is already here to register your child for preschool. A re-enrollment email will come out the week of January 3rd for those currently enrolled. If you are currently enrolled at Salem School or a member at Salem you can register and reserve your spot for the 2022-2023 school year. We will have 3 classes available; 3 year olds, mixed age, and 4 and 5 year olds not yet ready for kindergarten. We reserve the right to place your child in the classroom that best meets your child’s educational needs and our staffing. Registration fees are $100 for the early bird until March 1st, then the fee is $175. Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis. You have the choice of which days you would like your child to come. There’s a minimum attendance of 3 half days up to 5 full days. The cost is $30 for half day, $40 for a full day. Salem Bowling

Salem will once again offer bowling this spring for boys and girls in grades 5th-8th. There is a fee of $60 to participate. (This fee is what Stillwater bowl charges each student for the rental of the shoes and balls for all of the practices.) Students that want to participate will need to purchase a bowling T-shirt that will have their last name on the back and their number.  If they participated last year and their T-shirt still fits they may use that. Just be sure to indicate on the bottom of this form what your number is so that number isn’t used by another teammate. Practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45-5:00 at Stillwater Bowl.  The students will need a ride to the bowling alley. So if you can help carpool that would be great.
