The 8th-grade class is planning to travel to the Boundary Water Canoe Area at the end of the school year for their class trip. They will be organizing several fundraisers to help them reach this goal.

An order form will be available on the church entry information table, in each preschool classroom, in the school office, or feel free to contact any 8th grader to place your order. Checks should be made out to Salem Lutheran School. Order today so you can stock up on this yummy treat to serve over the Christmas holiday and throughout the new year (they come frozen and must be baked)!

Last day to order: Monday, November 26

Delivery Date: Monday, December 10

July School News

Next Year Update I know there is a lot of uncertainty regarding the next school year and what it will entail. As we continue to wait for updates from the CDC and our Government, I wanted to share with you the plan for Salem as of now. Salem is planning on having in-person school starting August 31st. We are currently creating a plan for what this will look like with the faculty and the School Board. We are planning on sending the plan out in the middle of July. We also continue to work on plans to go to Remote Learning again if need be. We want you to know that our primary plan is to have in-person school. Through all of this uncertainty, it is important to remember that we have a God who does not change. He has seen the entire plan of this pandemic and will use it for our good. This pandemic has created times that are hard for us to trust in His plan with all that our country is enduring. 2019 - 2020 Salem Tuition Agreements

You may have already received an email from TADS requesting that you set up your tuition agreement for the 2019-2020 school year. Please watch for this email as these will be sent out in the next two weeks to get us set for the next school year. The earliest payments may begin is as early as August with payments available through June of 2020. Thanks so much for your prompt response on this! Please contact the school office if you have any questions on Tuition Rates for 2019-2020   or if you are having problems setting up your agreement (school.office@salemlutheran.org). Tuition assistance requests will be applied as they are approved. Please make sure your request has been given to Mr. Klatt so that it can be considered at this time. The deadline for these requests is May 1. Just a reminder that assistance requests can be made for K- 8 students only.
