Information Packet for New School Year

Dear Salem Families, This is your information packet for the 2018-2019 school year . Below are the forms which need to be completed before the beginning of the new school year. You may print and complete these forms and hand them in at Visit the Teacher Night or Welcome Night. We will have these forms available at these events if you prefer the option of completing them the night of your visit. Completing them before you come will make registration much easier and take less time during your visit. Preschool News

Welcome to Salem! We are so excited for the 2018-2019 school year to begin. Here is some information on the preschool teachers here at Salem: Jane Grobe has an Associate of Arts Degree from Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, WI. She also has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Martin  Luther College in New Ulm, MN. Jane has taught at  Salem since 2001. In addition to teaching in the 4 and 5-year-old preschool classroom, Jane is the director of Salem’s multi-room preschool program and is also a mentor teacher.  She loves catching up with students from her former classes on Facebook especially when they look back fondly on their school experiences. jgrobe@salemlutheran.org Amy Gosch is a Milwaukee Wisconsin native with a Bachelors of Science degree in Education from Martin Luther College in 1999.                                                           School News 2018-2019 As you can see from the picture of the solar panels that were hinstalled on our building last year, the focus of our church and school is seen in the cross these panels form. It also is a beautiful picture to share with you as we begin our school theme for the year, "Built on the Rock!". Our theme is taken from Matthew 7:24-25 , " Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
