Getting Ready for 2018-2019 School Year

Dear Salem School Family, We hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer! Even though the warm summer days provide much fun and relaxation, we are still busy here at Salem getting prepared for another great school year. Our school theme for 2018-2019 comes from Matthew 7:24-25, " Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. "  The foundation of our school is God's Word. We have built on this rock every year as we use it to teach our students and help them grow in God's grace. As new staff is arriving and the school is getting cleaned and prepared, we are getting ready for another year of building and learning based on God's Word. Vacation Bible School - Splash Canyon June 18 - 22

Reminder! Vacation Bible School starts next week from 9:15 am - 11:30 am Monday - Friday, June 18 - 22 ($5 per child) Family Night is Thursday, June 21 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm (No cost to attend) Sports Camp Monday - Wednesday, June 18 - 20, 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm ($5 per child, bring your own lunch) See you next week!

We will also say goodbye this Sunday to the following staff: Ann Gutzke Linda Noack Calla Schoch Roger Zolldan Thank you for serving so faithfully this past year and especially to Ann and Linda for even more years of service here at Salem. They will all be honored after the 9:30 am service with a reception. Please join us! Don't forget 1-7th grade will sing at this service. Students should sit with their families and come up when directed.
